I agree and I smiled when I made it and do today as well. The light music and utter simplicity was meant to be taken with a smile except by those corporate CEOs who needed to make that kind of trip. The commercial worked for them and others enjoyed? watching it at the time. David Hoffman--filmmaker

Thank you for your humorous reaction. Much appreciated. In fact, back in those days, you had to prove to the network that what you are showing in? the commercial could be done. That this could all be done in a day. We did it in a day and proved it. Nowadays I do not know if any of that checking up on commercials still goes on

Thank you for your comment, but to be clear, I called it the To be clear, I think it the best commercial that I ever made. I made several hundred commercials but this one has a simplicity to it I really enjoy. I'm sure you are correct about the landing gear. David? Hoffman

I am responding to you from my wife's computer. I don't believe the car commercials are superior. My personal opinion of course. There's something light and fun and silly about this ridiculously expensive machine which so few people can buy. The classical? music. The real places. The pretty machine. You may have oversold your product just a tad by calling it 'the best ever made'. ;) Also - you have several shots of the chopper where the pilot is flying? around and forgot to retract his landing gear...

So true. But then again, each location is? more than 50 miles from the next one. And it's so nice to work in a helicopter with a cup of espresso and your buddies. And it only cost about $6000 a day.... a goofy idea in today's terms but quite reasonable when this commercial was made, for corporate folks at least.

Pick? up the phone. Or you can hire 10 guys to run/bike/drive to each of these locations, cheaper than a heli. :D
