More rotor blades isn't necessarily superior to fewer. More rotor blades increases lift at the expense of? energy efficiency, fewer rotor blades increases efficiency at the expense of maximum lift. Intermeshing rotors with electronic flaps work better than than coaxial. The intersecting gyroscopes of the two rotor disks increase stability and the system is mechanically simpler. See? the Kaman K-MAX for an example of this system. It has the highest lift capacity for it's size of any helicopter.

Coaxial helicopters can fly? in a strong wind, they have more lift power and stability. Ka-50 is the most agile attack helicopter in it's class (for example it can make "circle-strafing" around the target). BTW Kamov helicopters are the most safe and reliable (Ka-26 Ka-32) becuase most of crashes caused by tail rotor failures

It also increases complexity of the rotor head and get different? failure modes so it doesn't increase reliability it's just a tradeoff. Performance is better in some ways but worse in others. Anyone who has flown a dual swash coaxial RC helicopter (not a toy) will tell you that they are more stable but less agile than single rotors.

i'd say that a nuke? landing directly in the hear of Moscow is much more effective than a nuke landing on suburban long island instead of Manhattan. American accuracy is much more effective than the size of the Russian nuke.

Because your brain lacks behind facts and achievnes of engeneers like the Apache.Coaxial rotors have more maneuvrability 4G usual helicopter like Apache have only 1.5G.The KA-50 is the fastest Helicopter 400km/h.It can rotade while flying forward backward sideward. Climb ration is twice better than Apache,Mi24,Mi28 or other Helicopters.Coaxial rotors are much safer than tail rotors, it can fly when flapper was shot off, it has? ejection seats thats why its better
