I like the way you berate yourself for this (thus saving me the trouble... LOL). Great skills - I am not sure I could adjust quickly enough to save one, should this ever happen to me; well done! Now that you're reversed the? servos - what do you think of the plane? I am considering getting one, and thus far the only negatives I can find are from people that don't know how to set the CG correctly, and a need to reinforce the landing gear installation. Looks to fly great, at a great price.

LOL i did thie same thing on? my parkzone P51 wasent able to save her from the ground.

I've only had this happen once in all my flying career & there was no way I? could save it due to the extreme throws & instantaneous confusion. Good save tho!!!

I throttled down and just turned my transmitter upside? down :)

if u ever have reversed ailerons, cut the throttle, stabilize the plane, then? use rudder to get safely back on the ground

my first flight had reversed elevator, it snap rolled from torque and well lets just say didn't live. 10 second flight. 1 year later i rebuilt and wow what a plane!! I totaled my apprentice this year with reversed ailerons, that was hard to swallow since I've had over 30? flights with it :(

By: gmccord1970. on 06 May 11, 00:31:25
You actually did the right? thing in that situation....stay off the ailerons, use rudder and elevator.
By: mayrhofer96. on 20 Jan 11, 13:31:09
ok thanks.?
By: RobscoRC. on 20 Jan 11, 01:28:31
Of course you could, just have to use the correct receiver and your done. The parkzone and some? eflight planes come with spektrum receivers, which work very well if you have a spektrum or JR transmitter but are not compatible with other brands.

wow! great skills! could i fly the extra? also with a futaba ff-6? thx

I like the plane, but I don't love it. Iv tried many battery positions, and your right it does fly better with the bat forward. However it depends on the manoeuvres you want and how you fly. I prefer to fly with a bit of tail weight because I enjoy 3D and tight turns. A 3D plane this is not but its fun? and fast. If you want more fun, change the battery to something with higher C rating. Then it comes alive. PS the new Yak 54 is MUCH better.. Video coming soon
By: demise002. on 10 Jan 11, 21:50:03
Throwing that out there cuz the new? instructions say to push your battery all the way forward. Atleast thats the way it came in mine.
By: demise002. on 10 Jan 11, 21:44:41
So anyway, what do you think of this plane so far? I,? myself have found it tons of fun. Hopefully you've had plenty of time to fly it with correct aileron direction. Also I've found that the battery placement in this plane makes TONS of difference. If you place the battery far forward, it will fly better slow which was what a lot of people were looking for in this plane. On the other hand, if you get it for the 3d maneuvers its best to leave it back to give your tail much better swing.

I didnt try to say? they were, I was saying that the wings are flipped, therefore the airfoil is flipped THEREFORE the ailerons are reversed. And dont try to tell me that Parkzone delibaretly configured their stock Extra 300 to have reversed aileron throws for customers, because If you are then I lost hope for you :) ( sounds like thats what youre saying) Dont call people morons next time just go hit the books at your local library.
