wrong,? the green vision you see here on the tiger : watch?v=KqoqXSkEySY is not a night vision. it's a thermal vision, but instead of using Black/White contrast it use Green/Bright Green contrast. this is just a color palette setting. it can be modified via the FLIR camera option.

By: sertox12345. on 25 Jul 11, 16:07:05
wow every body can do better but none of them want to lead the fight go? you do all the work better than we clean up for you like you do for use now thanks
By: chenoir. on 23 Jul 11, 09:34:03
You mistake Infrared vision for night vision, that, it's true, magnify ambient light to allow it's user to see clearly in dark scenes like night? flying. Infrared vision IS thermal vision, period. For cnn archives, I've no time to search now, but I'll take a closer look, even if I still think it's highly improbable.
By: with33. on 23 Jul 11, 00:52:39
two different things 1 goes? by body heat the outher goes by multiplying the light and my souce as i said was cnn im shure if u dig around there website you can find the pics
By: chenoir. on 22 Jul 11, 18:49:41
Full Scale Helmet Mounted Sight.Just watch about TopOwl, you'll understand. But let this apart of the debate. Ah, just something : Thermal vision and Infrared vision are the same thing, exactly the same thing. Thermal vision uses infrared radiation to detect hot spots. Did you just thing it threwd thermometers in the air and took the mesures to? build an image? And about that chopper crash, show me your source, I'm curious.
By: with33. on 22 Jul 11, 17:40:08
you have not it was not a drone ive seen the pics on cnn yours does not run on thermal only light witch is different light mean infared btw and last but not least helmet sight? first fucking chopper to have a helmet sight was the cobra so its replacments your saying doesnt have one? nice try dumbfuck? but please stop trolling you failed
By: chenoir. on 21 Jul 11, 20:22:15
We've already deployed tigers in Asthan, whatever you can say. Second, the only chopper lost in Lybia? was a drone chopper (and the vid clearly show it was not a tiger), and moreover it was an american drone, so just shut upo please. And about the lock on system, I don't know where you got your intel, but Tiger is also thermal and has an helmet mounted sight, not the Apache. Anyway, you can do more, it's doesn't mean you do best Better be daltonian than have 0/10 on each eyes.
By: with33. on 21 Jul 11, 18:00:40
first? off france has not will not has declaired they will never give air support in afghanistan only ground troops supported by the us uk candian airforces second you did about a month and a half ago and they tried to cover up and say it was a helicopter drone but it was a taiga as proven by pictures of the crash from ghadafi forces third apache lock system runs on thermal and light were tiaga only runs on light soooooooo apache has tobe better because it can do more
By: chenoir. on 21 Jul 11, 09:25:16
Me trolling you, that gave impossible to verify arguments? No way. The Tigre is engaged in Afghanistan (which is, as far as I know, not the Taiga of a jungle, but a desert) and showed 99% disponibility rate, and that's a fact you can check. And we've lost absolutely no helicopter on Lybia, once again your source are very weird. But hey, just tell me, how can you know the? Apache lock system is better than the Tiger's one when they both are classified? Are you omniscient or something?
By: with33. on 21 Jul 11, 04:28:57
one deplitate uranuim is not a nuclear shot dumbass? lol two the only desert enviroment they have fought in so far is libya were they have already had one lose control in air and crash three are you just trolling me or are you really that dumb?
By: chenoir. on 20 Jul 11, 21:38:27
I love this kind of argument. I try : "Yes but the? Tiger can fire 12 missiles in less than 0.1 seconds and it's cannon fire mini-nuke shells." Prove me wrong. What I can say, is that the Apache have a very average disponibility rate because they are not fit for battle in afghanistan environnement while Tiger have shown a 99% disponibility rate and are perfectly fit for desert operations.

Germany And France -? The Power Of Europe
By: longsweep1. on 29 May 11, 16:20:52
Nice to? see that the tigers have arrived... nice to know that the taliban will get pounded a little extra.Thank you Les Français
By: SAACAAS. on 28 May 11, 03:39:40
and Spanish? too
By: with33. on 24 May 11, 08:27:52
lol anyone who thinks the tiger is a better attack helicopter then the apache is retarded apache is faster has better lock on equipment better armour and is alot easier to operate with? that being said it also costs almsot twice as much and double the numbers of the tiger would probly win in the end because they can cover more ground and could be used more efficiently but again lol the french dont own more then 100 of them america has 350 apaches that we know of
By: with33. on 24 May 11, 08:25:01
ehh we do its just well if? you do some research europe doesnt spend nearly as much on there armies as we do they spend it towards better things like there people or helping outhers ect
By: druisteen2. on 09 May 11, 00:07:23
the leclerc MBT , the tiger , lafayette frigate , the VBCI , the rafale french équipement are verry good ?
By: glendelio. on 23 Jan 11, 02:12:24
It can be used on? ships for amfibious missions, it's the first heli to shoot an air to air missile even the standard apache longbow has to be modified for this task and electronic comparing is bullshit the tigre is a very high tec helicopter it got everything he needs in this modern world GPS, infrared, sensors, day/night vision, communication links, flares other counter systems, flybywire,... The small size makes it more stealthy, the engines are silencer to.
By: glendelio. on 23 Jan 11, 01:45:54
It's ironic when they alway's say apache, because the older versions are crappy compared with the tigre. The apache longbow has good electronics but i still will shoose the tigre. ( this is way ) it's a 21 century design, more agile, cheaper to buy-use and maintain, lighter, it has a much further range and this is a large benefit it's not only going further but it can give? longer airsupport to ground troops and it's better for surveilance missions " more to come "
By: bachelor11111977. on 05 Jan 11, 06:37:25
actually the apache and the tiger are fairly equally matched on the firepower both have a 30 mm gun and can carry very similar weapons loadout., but keep in mind one main thing, the tiger is more agile! and? a hell of a lot more cheaper, and is also far better in the scouting role. So overall i think i would rather have a tiger. and im not french, nor german!

Ils veulent juste tester cet hélicoptère en combat pour le? valider.
By: floflo008. on 14 Nov 10, 22:03:59
reading this while knowing that the tiger? can cary quite anithing
By: WhiskyGobshite. on 29 Oct 10, 11:43:20
The tiger simply isn't as advanced as the Apache, its a stupid argument. It may be a better helicopter but its weapon systems? are not as advanced as the Apaches.
