The Apache is "CRAP" Ok ! The rotor span is too long first wich makes it a" clumbsy" flyer second. The only? thing that keeps this sheet metal afloat is it's gun payload. Getting out of doge and harms way," leave that too the Comanche"; wich will be comming into service by 2014. The aviation on that air craft is mouth dropping with out a gun. It so remind me of the old Scopion somtimes call the flying EGG, wich was a highly manuverable chopper then as well as now. 5 blads short bald spand.

Face facts, whether you like it or hate it, its been put through more tests in real world combat than nearly any attack helo and stands the tests of mechanized close support combat. Useless sure dude... Name a chopper with better power to weight ration and heavier armament. This chopper slams the shit out of nearly everything out there and then theres the fact that we have 732 of them in service not including our? allies who buy em up like hot cakes and now produce their own.. This is the best helicopter in the world, without a shadow of a doubt, perhaps you should do your research before you start accusing it of being the worst.? This helicopter has a much larger fear factor than any other, the more improved version of it is the British Apache Longbow, which beat the Eurocopter in a head to head competition to be picked as the British Army's new helicopter in 1995. Yes 1995 and it's still in service and remains a pinnacle in aviation history.

Jets are fast air support and will only ever be fast air support. Only helicopters can truly be close air support and they don't use the F? 35 lightnings hover capability in a combat scenario, they only use it for take-offs and landings, don't be convinced by die-hard or battlefield 3
