why do most climbing and 4x4 vehicles have solid axles? wouldnt it be better to use a-arms because independent suspension and more ground clearance in the middle where you can get caught? on rocks with solid axles?

The videos never do this race justice. This is the one race I never miss every year. The best part of the whole thing though is the week leading up to the race. Watching people attempt the course in their? personal vehicles is even better than the race.

They dont switch nearly as often as you would think. The shocks are totally rebuildable. Its not exactly cost effective to replace a shock? that can cost around $4000 Each.
